Welcome to the April 2008 Toy Tractor Times. It is time for spring and we have an exciting issue for you on spring field work.Toy Tractor Times TV is action packed with big tractor power this month. We have a feature video on the new 530 hp John Deere 9630 field cultivating at Garnett Farms and pictures of the all new 1/16 Collectors Edition 9630 from Ertl. Collectors are excited about the new 1/16 9630 and Toy Tractor Times has an exclusive preview of the new model before it hits John Deere dealer shelves in late April.
Make sure to watch our two videos of Garnett Farms 500 hp John Deere 9620T and 575hp Challenger MT875B applying anhydrous ammonia in some sticky conditions. These tracked tractors are built to take on the toughest field conditions and this years wet spring in Western Kentucky puts these big tractors to the test. Toy Tractor Times TV will show you they pass the deep mud test with an A+.
Toy Tractor Times has information on some new limited edition sprayers from AGCO. The self-propelled sprayer is playing a bigger and bigger role on the farm as planting practices continue to trend to no-til. AGCO has a great new 1/32 Spra-Coup and three 1/64 AG-Chem toys on the market this spring. Only 2,500 of each model were produced.

This months Collector's find comes from Toy Tractor Times author Gordy Schultz. It is a Gottman Toys Dmi Ecolo-Tiger Sub-Soiler. This highly detailed ripper sold for $530.00 on e-bay. Gordy is a master e-bay surfer and finds lots of interesting farm related items on the popular auction site. While Gordy did not win the ripper he thought T.T.T. readers would enjoy knowing there is nice looking DMI ripper out there to hunt for.

The Toy Tractor Times Big Bud HN-320 is progressing. Here is a first shot of the highly detailed die-cast Universal Hobbies model. The HN-320 is in the pre-paint stage. Look for a painted and decaled model in the May Toy Tractor Times. The new 1/16 Big Bud will be available in the fall of 2008.
