1957 Cockshutt 50 Deluxe

This is the “Farm Toy Museum Commemorative 1988” tractor of the year which is engraved right on the frame. Ertl of Dyersville, Iowa made this replica and did an outstanding job.

This tractor just jumps off the shelf and screams, “look at me, look at me”. It is just one very “eye catching replica”. The details are well done. Under the hood there is plenty to see. It is very authentic, right down to the heavy duty round tube front axle and the Deluxe styling exercise of reversing the paint colors of the hood, grill and fuel tank. This really enhances the old “round nose” that has been the style of the famed Cockshutts for the previous 10 years.

The colors of Vermillion Red and Cream are a striking contrast that just seems to fit this tractor like a glove. One of my favorite items on this replica is what seemed to be oversized tires. It makes this tractor look like it can stand with any machine in the field during its day.

Strength: Color Scheme and rear tires!!!
Needs: More detail in the operator’s station.
Overall, this is an extremely nice collection piece. Anyone who collects Cockshutts, Olivers or Co-ops would be proud to have this replica on their shelf.

I extend my thanks to A & N Sales for loaning me this tractor. For more information call Mark at 480-218-7190.

Happy collecting to you all……
Rick
