Gro-Moore Farms in Henrietta, NY first and second generations, and the third generation is growing up quick and becoming an important part of the operation. When you visit Gro-Moore's Farm Market and Garden Center, you will find everything for your gardening needs; fertilizers, hand tools, concrete lawn ornaments including fountains, all on display in the 10,000 s. ft. glass greenhouse.

The fall season is a fun time for the whole family at Gro-Moore Farms. We have our Pumpkin Hollow & Fall Festival that runs every weekend in October. Daily activities in October include Farm Animal Petting Zoo, New Goat Hotel, Pumpkin Slide, Haunted House, and Spooky Scenes. Weekend activities in October include Wagon Rides, Big Bale Maze, Tattoos, Straw Crawl, Paint Your Own Pumpkin, Miniature Golf and Trike Track.

Each year straw is used to build a special project in front of Gro-Moore Farms. Round bales to make large Jack-O-Lanterns have been a favorite over the years. For 2005 the straw building project took new shape. Karen Moore built a John Dere 9520 4wd. This massive display is made from square bales and uses round bales for tires. The straw was painted in John Deere green and yellow green. Home made John Deere 9520 decals were added to make the project a model of the 450 hp John Deere 4wd. A real muffler and air breather top off the big 4wd. The local John Deere dealer Lake Land Sales & Service of Avon, NY sticker was even added to the 9520. Next time you have some extra straw around the farm you might want to try building your own tractor. Learn more about Gro-Moore farms http://www.gromoore.com/
