The CAT Lexion 590R is the largest combine in the world to date. Boasting a 360 bushel grain tank, and 462 horsepower Caterpillar C-13 engine with a horsepower bulge to 501 horsepower this machine can handle harvesting heads up to 40 feet which include a F540 MaxFlex grain header and a C516 16 row corn head.
With the introduction of Norscott’s one-thirty second model of the Lexion 590 R, it seemed like the perfect model to feature in the October 2005 corn harvest issue of the Toy Tractor Times. We bring you live action footage of the real machine and its massive 16 row corn head out in the field. With all the detail that Norscott included on this impressive toy, it seemed to be the perfect model to feature in this video. Pictures alone do not do the one-thirty second model justice.
We hope this movie catches your eye as well as the look of the machine working caught ours. Sit back; relax; let the video tell the rest of the story.
