160 Years Of Massey Ferguson
It is Massey month at the Toy Tractor Times. This years Fall Harvest Edition of The Toy Tractor Times highlights 160 Years of Massey Ferguson.

The October issues traces Massey Ferguson history from its founding by Daniel Massey in 1847 to its modern line under AGCO's leadership in 2007. Toy Tractor Times TV has a great video on the ever popular Massey Ferguson 8680 combine. If you have the 1/64 Ertl Massey Ferguson 8680 combine this is your chance to see the real combine in action.

Jim Simpson has two great articles giving a run down on the values of Massey Ferguson tractor values and all the combines you can collect. Mark Channell continues the collecting theme with two articles about collecting 1/16 and 1/64 Massey toys from his home in England. Mark has an impressive Massey collection. Make sure to check out his pictures. Dan Adamson covers the 1/64 variations of the Ertl MF 2800 and 2775. Gordy Schultz writes about Massey Ferguson forage harvesters and the Massey hay cuber in the October Literature rack.

Make sure to head down to the Model Farm this month to read about the interesting neighborhood of farms created by Jay Schuline. Jay developed a big line up of farms using Massey Ferguson, White/Oliver, Allis-Chalmers, International and John Deere equipment, that neighbor his all Ford Farm Oak Grove.

Matt Hirtzel of Saluki Toys puts the new 1/32 535 Steiger by Ertl under the Scope this month. We also have video on Toy Tractor Times TV showing two CaseIH 8010 combines shelling corn 12 rows at a time. Read more with the 8010 video about the 30th Anniversary Axail-Flow combines you can collect this fall.

The October issue also has farm toy news for you. Toy Tractor Times interviewed Bill Walters from Ertl about the new John Deere 2007 Winter Catalog. Bill also shares a new surprise tractor with us and information on the new John Deere air drill. We also have a run down of the growing line of historic 1/16 implements from Spec-Cast.

You may have heard the Toy Tractor Times had a "big" surprise for toy tractor collectors this month. The surprise is a start of a new series of of Big Bud 4wds. We are working with Robert and Randy Williams the owners of Big Bud to develop a heritage series of Big Bud models from 1969-1991. The Big Bud that will launch the series is a 1/16 1976 HN-320 by Universal Hobbies. Toy Tractor Times TV has a 360 degree video tour of the amazing detail Universal Hobbies has planned for the 1/16 HN-320.
