In 1972 Case announced it wanted to be a “Big Tractor Specialist” and focused solely on producing high horse power tractors. As the United States was celebrating the bicentennial in 1976, Case introduced the 1570. The Case 6 cylinder, turbocharged 504 cubic inch engine powers the 1570. This big tractor weighs in at weighs in at a whopping 16,290lbs. For the 1976 introduction only the stars and stripes scheme was offered. This paint feature was called the Spirit of 76.
