Ford 901 Power by Ertl

This is the National Farm Toy Show tractor of 1986. Ertl of Dyersville Iowa made 8000 of these replicas for the National Show.

This 1/16 replica of the Ford 901 Powermaster is in near mint condition. It is painted as you can see by the photos, Ford Gray and Orange. It has authentic Ford graphics, workable steering and comes highly detailed. Under the hood the engine shows wires, the battery box, and alternator, just to name a few of its features. The Muffler is plastic but the majority of the replica is die-cast. Decals are used for the grill and the speedometer.

The tractor measures, 8 inches in length, 5 ½ inches across the back wheels and 5 inches tall.

The frame is stamped, “National Farm Toy Show 11-8-86. This is a well built toy and has never been played with. I borrowed this tractor from Mark Altermatt the owner of A&N Sales in Mesa Arizona.

This narrow front tractor has clam shell fenders. The color scheme is well done, and is very appealing, making this prized model one handsome tractor.

The replica that I have selected as my favorite for the year 2004 is the European 1/16 Steyr MX 255 Magnum MFD. It was produced by Ertl and I bought it at my local Case IH dealership in Idaho.

The reason I selected this tractor is because it is the only Case IH replica with the Steyr logo. This makes the tractor very unique! Therefore I wanted it in MY collection.

I only collect tractors that are IH, Case IH, CNH and McCormick. Anyone else collecting these brands would want this tractor in THEIR collection!
